Love God, Love People (LGLP) Conference
LGLP Conference, a collaboration between Life Groups, Evangelism and Discipleship Ministry,
is a two-day event designed to deepen your understanding and practice of Christ's command to
love God and to love your neighbor as yourself.
To be held on the 30th and 31st of October, this annual Conference, which began as Disciple
Makers Conference last year with great success, offers a blend of inspiring plenary sessions
and targeted workshops that cater to various aspects of Christian life and ministry.
Main Speaker: Rev. Calvin Lee
Rev Calvin Lee is the former Senior Pastor of Grace Assembly Singapore and is known for his
deep insights, passionate teaching, and proven pastoral ministry. Rev Calvin will lead the
plenary sessions on the 3 ‘I’s of loving God and loving people: Intimacy, Influence, and Impact.

Panelists
Ivan Frederic Yun is a lawyer and fitness coach by profession. He is also an LG Leader as well as serves in the Music & Creative Arts ministry. He has been in attending Calvary since 1993. Ivan has a significant following on Instagram, where he mainly shares his life, motivational stories and passion. He desires to impact the lives of many and make a difference through his personal social media while maintaining his testimony as a Christian.
Cheryl Kam started off as an interior designer and an architect by profession but had a growing interest in creating designs for digital platforms. Soon, she began designing wedding invitations for friends and family, which eventually evolved into a successful boutique wedding design business on Instagram (@ask.cheryl). She is well versed in content creation for work and also has the experience in serving as a content creator for Calvary Youth's social media page.
James Ho is a specialist in Digital Brand and Marketing and has a wide array of experience in the creative field for about 20 years, which includes start-up Digital agencies, to mobile apps development, digital marketing for a media agency. He is currently involved with digital branding & management for a bank. He has offered his expertise in various ministries since joining Calvary in 1996, ranging from design work to solutions from a creative perspective.

Panelists
Philip Tan, appointed as a Life Group leader in 1989, now oversees three Life Groups as a sectional leader. Driven by a desire to impact lives and encourage spiritual growth, he also teaches at the School of Christian Growth and has served as a church Deacon. His passion for personal development extends to his profession, where he guides young graduates and aspiring board members as a Professional Board Director and Training Consultant.
Victoria Choi is passionate about fostering life transformation and mentoring young people both in the marketplace and within the church. She works as a Human Resource Business Partner and serves in the Life Group ministry as a Life Group leader. She began leading youth at a young age of 18 years old and has continued for the past 11 years. Deeply committed to discipleship, Victoria actively journeys with those she leads and serves in the youth Belonging Team.
Helen Read, a dedicated church member since 1993 and former Deaconess, serves as Co-Director of Ms Read. Her journey as a Life Group leader began in 2000, where she has ministered to single mothers and continues to lead home life groups to this day. Helen played a pivotal role as a core leader in the formation of the Discipleship Ministry, demonstrating her deep commitment to loving and building up disciples.
